Social Action & Advocacy
Vision: All of us in Marin have an equal opportunity to live our lives with dignity and respect.
Mission: We make it possible for people to achieve wellbeing by providing the education, mental health, and vital services they need. Together, we break down the barriers that get in the way of fair and lasting change in service to better outcomes for all.
Mission
To ensure equal housing opportunity and to educate our communities on the value of diversity in our neighborhoods.
Our History
Founded in 1982 as a program of the Marin Housing Center — now known as Homeward Bound — Fair Housing Advocates of Northern California (formerly Fair Housing of Marin) became an independent nonprofit dedicated to equal housing opportunity in 1984.
